Decoding the new mindset – what do British travelers expect from mobility experiences?
Travelers in the UK are bundling services by default and prioritizing digital convenience when it comes to securing car rental, according to our new research report, Global Mobility Trends: Decoded. The illuminating work of Global Mobility Trends: Decoded draws on responses from thousands of both business and leisure travelers around the world, including hundreds here in Europe. It offers a chance to look at how mobility preferences are shaping up this year.
GIVE IT TO ME BI: No Script For This
After nearly a year on hiatus, we asked our community what they wanted us to talk about as the podcast returns. From every direction, the same question came back: How do I be bisexual inside a committed relationship? One listener has been with his girlfriend for four years. A decade ago, he had an experience with a man but never told anyone. He feels in too deep now, scared that bringing it up would only create doubt where there shouldn’t be any.
GIVE IT TO ME BI: Rejecting Labels Is Valid, But What If It’s Costing You?
You’re at the doctor, a form asks about your sexuality, and you pause. You know you’re attracted to more than one gender. You’ve known for years. But none of the words on the form feel quite right. “Bisexual” isn’t how you describe yourself. “Pansexual” doesn’t quite land either. Our listener Brian told us he’d sometimes use the word “queer,” which was “accurate, but didn’t fully reflect what I felt inside.” You leave the field blank. Nobody notices. Your visit carries on. But here’s what you don’t see.

GIVE IT TO ME BI: Keep Showing Up: The Inconvenient, Essential Work Of Community
Right now, there’s grief, powerlessness, and an identity crisis playing out across our communities. But the biggest factor in resilience isn’t some abstract concept – it’s our connection to community. We seem to have forgotten that community doesn’t happen by accident. It takes effort. It’s intentional. And importantly, it’s inconvenient by design. The people who work against us know how powerful a robust, diverse community can be. That’s why they work so damn hard to split us up.
GIVE IT TO ME BI - Bisexuals, Get Ready: The Mummy 4 Is Coming
‘Bisexuals, Get Ready: The Mummy 4 Is Coming’ is the December edition of our monthly bisexuality column, Give It To Me Bi. We don’t mean to alarm you, but you’re going to want to be sitting down when you hear this. Our favourite Academy Award-nominated 1999 action-adventure film The Mummy is returning, with the news recently breaking that The Mummy 4 is in final talks for film production. The best news?
It’s A Bi! Australia Celebrates Its First Openly Bisexual AFL Player
“I’m a bisexual man” With those four words, former West Coast Eagles player Mitch Brown didn’t just shake up the AFL – he’s reshaped how Australia sees bisexual men. Bi men are in the headlines for all the right reasons — especially seeing as we just celebrated Bi+ Visibility Day at the end of last month — and many thought we would never see the day.
GIVE IT TO ME BI: Bi+ Visibility in Children’s Books – Is It Possible? - Star Observer
We are truly lucky at GITMB to have a vibrant online community of podcast listeners and readers of our column in our beloved Star — it gives us endless insights into what our community cares about. (Join us by searching ‘Give It To Me Bi Community’ on Facebook!). A recent post by a member really got us thinking about bi+ visibility. Being visible implies being seen, not just by yourself, but by others.
Give It To Me Bi: Bi+ Babes, You’re Perfect
‘Bi+ babes, you’re perfect’ is the July edition of our monthly bisexuality column, Give It To Me Bi. You’re not imagining it: there has definitely been a lot of bi-negativity in the media lately. (We know, the same could be said for the last few decades, but you know what we mean.) But something has felt really off this Pride Month, from social media pile-ons on bi+ celebrities like Fletcher, Billie Eilish, and JoJo Siwa, to the daily grind that every bi+ person goes through.
Give It To Me Bi – The Grindr Trap: Why Bi+ Men Are Easy Targets - Star Observer
‘The Grindr Trap: Why Bi+ Men Are Easy Targets’ is the June edition of our monthly bisexuality column, Give It To Me Bi. Almost every week we see new headlines telling us that gay men are being targeted in violent crimes through dating apps like Grindr — a shocking reminder of the discrimination our communities face. But here’s the problem: the sexuality of these victims hasn’t been confirmed. It’s been assumed. And once again, bisexual men are erased from their own story.
Give It To Me Bi: Bisexual People Are Waiting For Everyone To Show Up
‘Bisexual People Are Waiting For Everyone To Show Up’ is the May edition of our monthly bisexuality column, Give It To Me Bi. As we gear up for the federal election, one thing is clear: the LGBTQIA+ community is not a monolith. Despite the rainbow, our histories haven’t always been truly shared. And yet, even when our experiences have diverged, there has been solidarity. Lesbians and bisexual women became caretakers for gay and bisexual men during the AIDS crisis.
Give It To Me Bi: March is Bi+ Health Awareness Month!
March isn’t just when we bask in the afterglow of Mardi Gras—it also marks Bi+ Health Awareness Month. Spearheaded by Boston’s Bisexual Resource Center, this initiative highlights the very real disparities that bi+ folks face, while advocating for action toward better health outcomes.
Give It To Me Bi: What’s Next For Australia’s Bi+ Community?
2024 was a game-changer for the Bi+ community. We’re seeing Gen Z emerge as the queerest generation ever. In some surveys, up to 1 in 4 Gen Z individuals identify as LGBTQ+, with roughly 70% of those identifying as bisexual. That’s massive. Here in Australia, world-leading research into Bi+ mental health, sexual health, and relationships is driving progress in services, visibility, and building stronger communities.
Expand It, and They Will Come: For Tech Entrepreneurs, Why Not Little Rock?
When the subject of U.S. tech incubators comes up, downtown Little Rock is probably not the first hotspot that springs to mind, or even the second or third. The Little Rock Technology Park, however, has been quietly helping tech entrepreneurs bring their visions to life and shaping the central Arkansas startup ecosystem since 2017. This summer, the Tech Park will embark on phase 2 of its multi-part master plan, and sub-phases will come online as needed.
The ‘New Guy’: Troy Wells, President and CEO, Baptist Health
A few minutes into an interview, Baptist Health President and CEO Troy Wells, discussing the health system’s culture, lobs a remark across the table that’s taken as self-deprecating throwaway. Even though he’s been at Baptist Health for 18 years, he said, sometimes he still feels like the new guy. Wells came to work for Baptist Health in 2005 after the rural hospital he was running was sold.
Let's talk about...being bi+!
March was Bi+ Health Month, which helped to draw attention to the unique experiences of the bi+ community and how these experiences affect our health. This month also provided an opportunity to highlight the inequalities faced by this large and often-erased group of people, some of whom also live with HIV. Bi+ is an umbrella term for personal identities that recognise the potential for attraction, romantically and/or sexually, to people of multiple genders.

What Will Alabama Lose by Not Expanding Medicaid?
By Steve Spencer Published: April 12, 2021 Pickens County Medical staff tried to save the hospital. 'I'm calling time on this crap': what it's like as a gay man to come out as bisexual
Bisexual Pride Flag (Source: Wikimedia Commons) When I was asked to write this piece about Bi Visibility Day by the Editor, I had to think long and hard about it. To be honest, I would rather not talk about it, because every time I do it always ends the same way. Bisexuality within Australia’s queer community is a topic that not many people are comfortable or equipped to talk about, so it often degenerates into jokes, calls of invalidity, and fear.
