To comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.

Yes, as a reporter.

There are many; but one which received the most response was called "An Angel's Last Call."

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Get out of journalism.

I never remember the worst pitches, only the best ones.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

That people in different nations, different cultures, different societies are, essentially, much the same. They are not.
