Has The Now Mythical Skillset Of The Gypsy King Been Vastly Overstated & Blown Out Of Proportion?
Alright, I'm certainly going to end up pissing countless people off with this thread, but whatever... it won't be the first time. But what I'm going to say, has really needed to be said for quite some time. But I've said nothing, and the Cult Of The Gypsy King has grown almost as uncontrollably as the Cults Of The Bronze Dosser and The Golden Bodybuilder. Maybe it needs a little water poured onto it. Sorry if I'm rambling, I'm doing this extemporaneously. So here goes....
Joshua vs Usyk size difference.
JDub said: ↑ yeah even in the Chisora fight he held a reach advantage, and he struggled with the physicality there if you ask me. don’t get me wrong, Usyk holds advantages in other areas but size, strength and power aren’t any of them. Click to expand... I think he’s around 4 inches taller but even a 3” advantage is significant when you factor in all the other physical considerations.
Terence Allan Crawford vs. Shawn Christian Porter
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by IntentionalButt, Oct 5, 2021. November 20th at Mandalay Bay. WBO world welterweight title at stake, 5th defense of Crawford. Come fight night both men will be 34 years of age (Bud's birthday was last month, and Showtime's is later in this).
Anthony Joshua should hire "Fast" Eddie Chambers to train him for the rematch
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Slyk, Sep 25, 2021. Fast Eddie knows a thing or two about speed. Speed was the difference in this bout. Despite Joshua being slower of hand and foot, less accurate, generally less dextrous, having less grit, less stamina, he is still the Superior Athlete, I am told by every commentator and media outlet. He's still just a young guy with limitless raw potential, but he needs to mix up his team.
‘I don't want to show any sportsmanship or respect’ wilder to Fury.

I think Fury summed up Wilder’s post fight comments perfectly, ‘what an idiot.’ Scorpion, neverheardofher, White Bomber and 27 others like this. Agreed. Really dissapointing. boxfap, robert ungurean, lordlosh and 8 others like this. kriszhao, pincai, George Crowcroft and 5 others like this.
Don't underrate USyK. Tonight Fury just beat Wilder again..
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Boxing2019, Oct 9, 2021 at 11:05 PM. Fury beat three times Wilder who lacks fundamentals. Be balanced folks. The risk is you overrate Fury whose defence tonight wasnt brilliant at all and underrate USyk who did a stunning feat last month beating Bodybuilder. Can Wilder and Joshua come back if they lose their next fights badly?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by bluebird, Oct 9, 2021 at 12:30 PM. The heavyweight division is so exciting right now with good talented fighters and colourful characters, the only shame is I think these two are on the verge of being retired with another big loss in their next fights. If Wilder gets crushed again, how does he come back at 36? If Joshua loses, he would have lost 3 of his last 5.
David Haye picks Deontay Wilder (why has he become so negative towards Fury)? Lennox picks Fury
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Drago, Oct 9, 2021 at 9:43 AM. Why does he suddenly believe in all of this? Or let s say in the theory Deontay had a damaged arm in the 2nd fight? Honestly: If this was true, Wilder would needed no other excuse like the spiked water etc. Wilder stated already after the 1st fight his right arm was damaged... Lennox picks Fury.
I've got a doubt. What if Wilder was right?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Boxing2019, Oct 7, 2021 at 1:45 PM. Yesterday I predicted another withdrawal of Wilder on Saturday. But today I was assailed by a doubt about the second fight. This content is protected Did Fury really remove the padding from his gloves in the second fight?
How would you rate Usyk's chin?
Not so easy to rate the chin of someone who gets hit flush so rarely. The shot Joshua landed in 6 clearly got a reaction, but he didn't show it enough to embolden Joshua, he didn't need to clinch, his legs were fine, and he seemed to recover in a few seconds to start moving again as usual. Gassiev got him with a good one and forced him to clinch, but he recovered quickly again. Gassiev is a big banger. Haven't seen him react much to anything else.

Usyk says he thought AJ would be tougher
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by mark ant, Sep 30, 2021 at 2:29 AM. Usyk states in post fight interview that he thought his fight with AJ would have been tougher, did a lot of people put a bet on Usyk to win? The bookies odds were funny as hell. Please can you stop making threads of random comments people make in interviews - at least put them in an already existing relevant thread.
Omfg, Usyk
It's been a few days now and yet the euphoria of witnessing that performance still wont go away. I feel like I saw not just a divisional ATG, but watched the coronation of a new p4p ATG into the annals of boxing history. It took my breath away. The speed, the movement, the boxing IQ, the gumption and self belief, the stamina, the footwork, the defense, the head movement, the chin, the determination. Usyk is the man. A pure ATG. djfonti, MarkusFlorez99, Themessiah and 4 others like this.
Who do you want to win AJ or Usyk
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by infini IV, Sep 23, 2021 at 12:14 PM. Forget who you think will win. I'd like to know the numbers on who you WANT to win? Usyk. He actually brings things to the sport: shows that skill, training, discipline, and intelligence wins over natural size and power. He's someone to study and learn from now and into the future.
