Andy is a professional sportsman living with lower limb paralysis and is a full-time, active wheelchair user. As a soldier stationed on his first post in Hamburg, Andy was injured in a serious car crash aged 19.

Stiltz Homelifts will be showcasing its new BS5900 Compliant Homelift at mobility and independent living event Trade Days, which takes place on the 7th and 8th October at the NEC in Birmingham. The lift incorporates fire seal protection when the lift is parked at the upper or lower floor and is interlinked with smoke alarms. Additionally, the lift can carry up to 250kg, which the company says helps widen the range of potential users.
