How is social media changing news?
Social media is changing the news in two ways, it opens the door to more fake news but it lets journalists access areas that are off limits

Why did you become a journalist?
To help people, give those that are placed in danger in the remotest corners of the globe a chance to be heard.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I tried many times to set up a school paper to no avail, I interned at my local newspaper. I will never forget going to court my first beat
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
The coverage on Kashmir, It is is the most under-reported conflict. The challenges in the region definitely need more air time
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Do your homework follow up leads, and most importantly talk to people that is how you get the stories
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime, investigative journalists are never off the clock
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
its mostly business-related an econ pitch without realising I'm an investigative journo, I am not here to plug your offshore creativity

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I am on the field with notebook in hand interviewing people. You must leave your desk in order to present nuance in your copy.
