For almost one and half decade now, I have been working as an investigative reporter, handling news packed beats like crime, courts and India's federal agencies likeCentral Bureau of Investigation, Enforcement Directorate which is a watchdog of economic offences among others. I have reported extensively on other sensitive bodies like the National Investigation Agency, Narcotics Control Bureau, Intelligence Bureau. All of these have helped me learn the tricks of the trade, sharpen my skills of investigative reporting, and helping me with the finer nuances of this kind of reportage. In my 15-year-old journalistic journey which started as a feature writer with DNA, in 2005 with feature writing, most part of it has been spent sniffing around, keeping my ear to the ground, and digging stories that made national headlines, in the process.
My professional trajectory spans across the leading Indian media houses like Indo-Asian News Service, Deccan Herald, Mail Today, New Indian Express, The Statesman, Mid-DAY.
In my current capacity as Assistant Editor with DNA, I write on defence and security issues in South Asia.
