What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I live in Delhi, and I fall sick every winter because of the toxic air. And I'm not alone. Delhi's severe air pollution poses significant health risks to children. While working on this story for Outlook, Doctors told me that it can lead to increased rates of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, as well as cognitive decline. They also warned that this generation may experience higher incidences of these health issues due to prolonged exposure to toxic air. Children's developing lungs make them particularly vulnerable, resulting in irreversible lung damage for many. Delhi schools have closed for at least 26 days due to hazardous air quality. I report on this issue that entire Delhi residents face. Soon after my report, BBC and CNN filed similar reports on air pollution affecting children in Delhi.
