Susan Kime’s Biography

Susan Kime’s career combines publishing, editorial, and PR/media relations. She was the Destination Club/Fractional Update for Elite Traveler, and senior club news correspondent for The Robb Report’s Vacation Homes. She has published in Stratos, Luxury Living, European CEO, The London Telegraph, and ARDA Developments. She was the Editor-in-Chief of Travel Connoisseur, a high end magazine whose main focus is the news and evolution of the private residence and destination club industries, until its closure in November 2008. In 2009, she was the Content Editor for FraxFinder, writing shared residence club guides, and all forms of Destination Club, Private Residence Club and high end fractional news.

She has done PR and cross marketing consultation for Luxury Real Estate.com, the Weybridge Collection, Solstice, Charaf & Co., and Spring Creek Partners. From February 2010 until March 2011, she was the senior Luxury journalist for Luxist/AOL.com, completing close to 200 articles – many on affluence and branding Thought Leaders. Other articles included international high end hotel openings, luxury travel trends, and emerging luxury marketing trends and their economic implications.

She now writes for JustLuxe.com, a luxury portal that receives over a million visitors per month, where she has written 90 articles since April of 2010, and for Luxury Society, a virtual, invitation-only international luxury site based in Paris. She does all the Thought Leader interviews, and does 95% of the Luxe Insider stories. She also writes on affluence research, and all aspects of experiential travel. In 2012, she covered the American Express Publishing Luxury Summit for the third time for JustLuxe and Luxury Society. She is also the Architecture/Design Editor for Caviar Affair, a high end print publication. Two of her articles were chosen by JustLuxe as the best Luxe Insider articles in 2012: an in-depth face/face interview with Giuseppe Aquila, CEO of Montegrappa & Elmo, a high end Italian Pen Company, and a story on the first Philanthropic Vacation Club, founded by Adam Capes.

For Kime Media, she is the Senior Content Marketing Consultant, writing story based website content for various clients.

She has two advanced degrees, both in Psychology, and resides with her husband and beagles in the mountains of Utah.
