How is social media changing news?

Social media allows the constant contribution of citizen journalism. This offers more transparency in the way news is presented to us.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Jane Sloan, from The Bold Type. She operates with a lot of integrity and goes the extra mile for a great story.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

I have previously used adobe premiere pro and audition for visual and audio productions. I have also used Wix, Wordpress and Microsoft Word.

What's your favorite social network?

I find myself going to Instagram more because I like to see what people are getting up to but I love Twitter for seeing how people think.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Either reading or attempting to do yoga. Emphasis on attempting.

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

Rouge Collective. It's an online publication created by women in Ireland.
