my free stuff for guest blogs and articles
posted 10 years ago Number of slices to send: Optional 'thank-you' note: I'm gonna try to get a big list going of stuff that I release for folks to use for blogs or articles and stuff. This first one is called "keep those branches, twigs, rotton logs and Christmas trees!" I've attached a text file to this post that contains the raw HTML. When using these as a blog, I expect all of the links to be maintained. Use of the images is optional. Use of the videos is optional.

masanobu fukuoka
posted 6 years ago Number of slices to send: Optional 'thank-you' note: Okay, I admit it. I've actually been playing around with Fukuoka's grain raising ideas for a month now. Experimenting and observing. If this isn't the right place to post this, please let me know where would be better. Thank you. It looks like we are going to have very little winter this year.
Early Retirement Extreme by Jacob Lund Fisker
Abe Connally Posts: 1502 Location: Chihuahua Desert posted 10 years ago 4 Number of slices to send: Optional 'thank-you' note: we survive on less than $500/month (family of 4) for more than a decade, but because our needs our low, our income is as well. Sure, we could earn $1500, and save $1,000 a month, but we wouldn't have time to do all the other stuff we love doing, like watching bees and playing with pigs....

This is what most businesses use. Everything is documented to the gills and people spend about a third of their time creating paperwork about work. Or in meetings learned about new types of paperwork. Usually there is one manager for every three people. Everything is VERY organized.
Natural Swimming Pool
Brenda Groth pollinator Posts: 4437 Location: North Central Michigan posted 10 years ago Number of slices to send: Optional 'thank-you' note: i didn't mean to sound negative, however, the photos and video seems to be more of a regular swimming pool with a planter around the outside edges..and very costly to build..and maintain, even with natural filtering.

Sepp Holzer on ponds and "the monk"
posted 12 years ago 6 Number of slices to send: Optional 'thank-you' note: This thread is to discuss the "ponds and the monk" section of the Sepp Holzer's Permaculture article. Sepp does not like to draw pictures. In twelve days of training, Sepp never did a powerpoint, although he did have somebody else show some of his pictures from previous projects. The way he conveys nearly all information is through telling stories and interpretive dance.
Podcast 101 - Letter From Birmingham Jail
posted 8 years ago 1 Number of slices to send: Optional 'thank-you' note: just thought i'd share a bit of an article i just read with a quote or two from MLK: Here was a man—especially in the last years of his life—who clearly was thinking not simply about new programs and policies, but about what can only be called changing the system. “True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar,” King said.
