What was your first job as a journalist?
Joked about doing it on Twitter and someone reached out to me to join their website.
How is social media changing news?
Things get announced/leaked on social media so quickly that sometimes the news is out days before we see an official email.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Wordpress, Google Docs, GIMP, iPhone.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter, even though they are all cesspools.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be courteous, be thorough, and most importantly be kind. Your PR contacts are your tools, but they are people and not your slaves.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
A guy once sent me a drone to review based on how truthfully I reviewed one previously.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Anything related to communal funding.
What's your favorite drink?
Water, like a good Christian boy.
