What was your first job as a journalist?

Founding editor of a print newsletter about botanical art. I did research, interviews, outreach, layout, printing, and distribution.

Workforce development professionals, HR professionals in environmental and sustainability fields, and organizations with grants

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Attend online and in-person events. Introduce yourself. Ask questions. Ask for help when you get stuck. Journalists are kind and helpful.
