Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes, though I learned touch typing from my mother's old leftover typing books, "practicing" on the keyboard layout printed on the back cover.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Email is best, text if you must, please don't call me unless Willy Wonka just bought Google and I get all the golden tickets.

When's the best time to pitch you?

I don't really have one. I tend to be awake earlier rather than later.

What's your favorite drink?

Iced tea.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

Writing about search engines does not equal writing about just SEO!
