Tate Hewitt’s Biography
Tate Hewitt is the general assignment reporter for the Fauquier Times. He was born and raised in central New Jersey, along the Atlantic Ocean.
Before he became a a journalist, Tate spent the better part of a decade working in restaurants, at a coffee roaster, and on construction sites —experiences that continue to inform his coverage. Tate moved to the Mid-Atlantic region after completing a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
