What was your first job as a journalist?
My first job was covering politics and culture in Central Illinois for WZND - a news and music radio station.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes!
What does it mean to be a journalist?
I think journalists help take complex issues and topics and present them in a way that allows a wide variety of folks can engage and interact
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I was so excited to be a part of the last E3 ever hosted. It was a big milestone and I'm excited to see where games showcases go from here.
What's your favorite drink?
Coffee - morning, afternoon, and night (if I need to be productive).
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
I think the toxicity around online games discourse gets loud and makes us forget most of us just truly love video games.
