What was your first job as a journalist?
I was covering University-related news beats initially, ranging from seminars to school moves
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes, during my high school days. Missed using them, especially when I used them to write essays and literary pieces.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Google Workspace tools, Canva and Wordpress
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter. Still a hot mess for many reasons, but many are more active there, especially Gen Z'ers
Why did you become a journalist?
I've always strived to bring relevant stories to the public, make technical news more approachable to them.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I was actually one of the pioneer members of our high school newspaper called "The Dolphin". I worked as the Features Editor for the paper.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I think everything I have worked on so far is a proud moment for me, being able to craft stories at a broad genre.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Never stop seeking the truth, it's better to speak now than wait for nothing.
What's your favorite drink?
Ice cold coffee, especially cheap chilled 3-in-1 coffee
