The bass guitar is probably one of the funkiest instruments you could ever choose to play, but is a versatile instrument that can sound as complex or simple as you want it to be. The low end adds weight and dimension that bridges the gap between the guitar and drums, and because of that it’s one of the most essential instruments across genre. The possibilities are endless and it just depends on how far you want to take it.
