Dark Knight News, a fan site that focuses on DC's Batman.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
A long time ago, as a child. I believe my dad had one and I just would type random things on it.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Kara Danvers on Supergirl... she can fly circles around her cousin.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Normally I'm the on that is pitching ideas! But, if someone wants me to write something, then email or a Twitter DM is likely the best way.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Slack and the life-saving Grammarly (that tool catches 99% of my mistakes).
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter—I can fire off random thoughts and then forget about it.
Why did you become a journalist?
Because I've got the creative bug! I'm not the typical journalist that is going to report the news but to give my opinion on that news.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Nope! I've only recently become interested in writing.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I wrote a piece just recently about Jennifer Aniston and which superhero she could play in a TV show or film.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Whenever really, but I'm more likely to work on something either mid-day or late at night.
What's your favorite drink?
Long Island Ice Tea if it's that kind of night. Landshark Lager for summers, and Heineken Light the rest of the year.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
In front of a microphone OR with my family.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
Entertainment Weekly has always been my favorite magazine to read. I also frequent iO9.com.
