Anna Tobin’s Biography

I am an experienced and versatile consumer, technology and business journalist and editor. My work is published worldwide.
I began writing as a teenager contributing to The Times, The Daily Mail and The Guardian, whilst studying for a degree at Leeds University, England. I was shortlisted for BBC Radio 4's Young Reporter of the Year Award and a finalist for The Sunday Telegraph's Catherine Packenham Award. After graduating with a 2.1 in Broadcast Journalism and Politics, I worked for several trade titles. I went on to launch and edit a number of consumer websites before joining House Beautiful UK as features editor, where I also cut my teeth as an interiors stylist. Currently freelance, I draw on my broad career background to write on a diverse range of subjects for national and international newspapers, consumer magazines, trade titles and websites. I also work as a stylist for most of the UK interior titles and do freelance stints in-house.
