Affordable quality fashion watches: Do they exist? (rant)
I've seen some pretty amazing looking fashion watches made by Structure ($30) or even no-name brands that I would love to own IF they were a little better quality. The main things I am looking for are (1) minimal WR such as 30M, and (2) thick crystal. When I pick up one of these watches with amazing designs and overall appearance, I am always disappointed by this fact. They are not water resistant at all, and when I tap the crystal with my fingernail I can tell how thin it sounds.

Will I pay tariffs after the sale on a <$200 watch from AliExpress in the USA
I'm interested in a few things on AliExpress but wondering if I'll have to pay fees to UPS/FedEX/USPS after the sale. I've searched but can't seem to get a definitive answer on this. A few of the threads I've seen are several months old and things are changing all the time. Does anyone know for sure? At least for June 2025?

Affordable digital watches with a stainless steel case?
Joined Jul 18, 2008 · 1,823 Posts This is one area where our forum favorite brands tend to let us down. Most steel cased digitals I've run across have been from fashion brands like Nike, Kenneth Cole, Nixon, and some British label that is on the tip of my tongue. Unfortunately, I can't point you toward any specific model that's still in production, but you might be able to use a series of search refinements on ebay to get you in the ballpark. Re-posting your bullets below, with added commentary... Helson 38x11.7mm size is likely more suited to my small 6.75" wrist, and I love a slim watch. Size is important, especially for small wrists. My first ever microbrand love. Maybe you need to scratch that "first love" itch? Overall design aesthetics are better IMO. I love the big shark tooth indices and case shape. Liking the design is important, since you'll see it and appreciate it every time you look at it.

Anybody else have this problem? I've been a WIS since way back around 2011 or shortly before I joined this forum. I picked up a cheap Seiko auto and fell in love with watches. Since then I've gone in and out of watch interest phases. I've owned a ton of classic autos like the Orient Mako, a Bernhardt Binnacle Diver I won on my birthday here, Armida A8 brass, Helson Shark Diver, Vostok Amphibia, Zelos Mako v3, and countless cheaper pickups in between.

Hello chums,Regrettably today I have decided to sell my Zelos Mako v3 stainless steel in teal. I am becoming a father soon and while I still have a passion for watches, I almost feel morally obligated to relinquish some of my more expensive possessions.The watch is in excellent condition overall, but does show some light wear. There are subtle scratches on the bracelet. The bracelet has been Loc-Tited to prevent pins from coming out.

Nice mix of polished and brush finishes, dual signed crowns, sapphire, sterile dial (love the logo with no printing), smooth inner rotating bezel, and laser etched time zone guide on the case back. Great stuff for $180.

Affordable dive watches with killer blue lume?
Alright folks I'm JONESIN' here. I need a watch with some radiant blue illumination goodness. Doesn't even necessarily need to be a dive watch. 39-42 mm 14 mm thick or less, the thinner the better Sapphire Under $300 if possible Don't care if quartz or auto Was considering some Citizens but most have mineral crystals. Was stoked on the Lum-Tec M72-S but it's green lume. Tisell looks to have a few models with blue lume but mostly sub homages. I'm also interested in micros like the Nodus Retrospect II.
