Operating a teleprompter for Lou Dobbs. The phrase "WHO THE F**K IS ON PROMPTER?" still sends chills.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Nope. But they're still cool.
How is social media changing news?
Around the world in a single click.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Ron Burgundy. The entire Channel Four News Team is outta sight, my man.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means getting paid to learn something new every day. That is, of course, also the definition of the world's greatest job.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
#ShutUpMattLauer made me laugh.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Email. Or never.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Skype rocks. TweetDeck and Hootsuite, too. And the iPad.
What's your favorite social network?
I can't answer that in under 140 characters.
Who do you wish followed you?
Virtue and knowledge would be nice.
Why did you become a journalist?
Hello, day. Meet blank slate.
