The first High Tolerance shower gels from Le Petit Marseillais
For years, Le Petit Marseillais has been present in the bathroom of one out of two French families (source: Kantar, penetration FY 2020). Today, the brand is deploying its recognized expertise in the world of beauty hygiene and is launching the Haute Tolérance range of shower gels, dedicated to sensitive skin (100% recyclable 400 ml bottle, €3.30/€3.50).
The rebirth of État Pur
Created in 2011 by Jean-Noël Thorel (President and Founder of the Naos group, which includes Bioderma and Institut Esthederm), État Pur is making a comeback in 2022, with new formulas, a new look and, above all, a new “phygital” distribution (pharmacy + digital).

The perfumery uses the winter mimosa, also called the florists’ mimosa. It is grown in abundance on the French Riviera, where the climate is perfectly suited to it. Mimosa flower absolute exhales a powdery floral scent with delicate honeyed and straw-like accents.
The furoshiki makes us happy!
Originally from Japan, furoshiki actually means “bath bundle”. Traditionally, people carried their toiletries to the bathhouse in this small knotted scarf. This system then evolved into a way of wrapping gifts and objects by simply using folded or knotted squares of fabric.

Solid makeup remover/facial cleanser
Supermarkets are betting on them for a greener bathroom Witness the latest launches of Nivea Naturally Clean and Briochin, after Garnier SkinActive in 2020 (PureActive Anti-Imperfection Charcoal Solid Cleanser, 100 g, €4.90). Nivea is launching four “facial solids” at once, two cleansers, two scrubs, formulated with 99% ingredients of natural origin and, for the first time for the brand, all certified Ecocert® Cosmos Natural, with packaging made of FSC-certified recycled cardboard.
Vegetable nails are becoming more and more common!
Kure Bazaar (Bio-sourced Nail Polish, 10 ml, €16, 100 shades), Clever Beauty and its famous anti-gaspi bottle with a “whirlwind of whipped cream” cap (Colored Nail Polish, 10.5 ml, €17.90, 11 shades) or Manucurist (Green Nail Polish, 15 ml, €14, 30 shades), composed of up to 90% bio-sourced ingredients, had opened the way.
The blue beauty phenomenon
Impossible to avoid it in 2021! It seems that if a sunscreen does not have the mention “Ocean Respect” or “Coral safe”, it could not be able to be sold this summer! Brands are working hard to reduce the water footprint of their products. And between protecting our skin and respecting the marine environment, we don’t choose anymore! But blue beauty doesn’t stop at sunscreens.
The pear note in perfumery
Apart from citrus, it is one of the few fruits that brings a joyful and refined freshness to fragrances (neither girly nor mainstream, unlike many other fruits with syrupy accents). Its fruity scent is always synthetically reconstituted (notably with hexyl acetate). It’s so fresh that Guerlain dedicated an Aqua Allegoria to it in 2016: Pera Granita (eau de toilette 75 ml, €78), a pear granita scented with bergamot.
