Abstract The development of advanced anode materials is critical for high-energy and high-power lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). Conventional conversion-type anodes, such as transition metal molybdates, suffer from poor conductivity, severe volume expansion, and structural degradation, leading to rapid capacity fading. To overcome these limitations, we propose a synergistic design strategy that integrates heterojunction engineering with fluorine doping.

Here we develop a light-driven, copper-catalyzed protocol to achieve aerobic oxidation of various alkylarenes or real-life PS wastes to benzoic acid and oxidized styrene oligomers.

4. Materials and Methods 4.1. DNA and RNA Extraction A female adult Taenioides sp. (~30 g in weight) was collected in June 2021 from the intertidal zone of Chongming Island, Yangze estuary of China. Muscle, eye, gill, and liver tissues were collected and stored in liquid nitrogen until DNA and RNA extraction. Genomic DNA was isolated from muscle tissues using Blood & Cell Culture DNA Mini Kit (QIAGEN, Cat. No. 13343). Total RNA was extracted using TRIzol reagent (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA).

In this study, hydroxycalix[4]arene, hydroxycalix[5]arene, hydroxycalix[6]arene, and their complexes with uranyl and thorium ions were analyzed by density functional theory. The coordination ability of hydroxycalixarene ligands to uranyl and thorium ions could be analyzed by simulating the infrared and ultraviolet–visible spectra, the Wiberg bond energy levels, the energy gaps, and the binding energies.

Abstract : A full-scale model for predicting low-velocity impact (LVI) damage and compression after impact (CAI) strength was established based on a subroutine of the material constitutive relationship and the cohesive elements. The dynamic responses of the laminate under impact load and damage propagation under a compressive load were presented. The influences of impact energy and ply thickness on the impact damage and the CAI strength were predicted.
