How is social media changing news?

We rely less on filters and pundits and more on organic, real-time information from Twitter and Facebook.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

MS Word, the Internet, my keyboard and then later my vicious red pen!

What's your favorite social network?

Facebook, definitely. So much interaction and the opportunities to share and spread information, ideas and activism is unique.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I did not work for my high school newspaper, but I was the Founder and organizer of the first literary and artistic journal.

When's the best time to pitch you?

In the morning, definitely on the weekends!
