When a fire starts on a ridge or a driver crashes on Highway 50 or a family member has a stroke, the same people get the 911 call. Firefighters and paramedics go first. The emergency room receives the patient. The neighbors who spent the spring clearing brush hope the work protects their property. We come from those three parts of the same system, and we are asking El Dorado County to vote yes on Measure S. We have already seen what an unprepared county looks like.
