8 times that Bob Uecker transcended baseball
Milwaukee, and all of baseball, lost an icon in the great Bob Uecker. For some, he was a player-turned-announcer. Others may remember only his best calls and being the voice of Brewers baseball for their whole lives. For others still, Uecker was beyond the game. He was a personality in the truest sense of the word, breaking into appearances in movies, television, commercials and more.

Perhaps the most widely known hidden image is the arrow hidden in the counter space of the FedEx logo.

{image1} Since April 5, 2003, it hasn't been easy being a Marquette fan. On that day, Kansas outdid the best MU men's basketball team since 1977 in a humbling national semifinal game, 94-61. But even though the Golden Eagles' most exciting season in a quarter-century ended with a thud, there was a distinct feeling that Marquette was once again a player on the national scene. It hasn't worked out that way.
MU vs. UW is always a classic
{image1} When Marquette and Wisconsin meet, it's always a classic for state college basketball fans. This Saturday's game at the Bradley Center will be the 111th meeting between the teams. The Badgers hold a 60-50 edge in the series. UW won last year, 63-59, at the Kohl Center. UW will bring a 5-1 record into the game. MU is 8-0. This season's match-up should be a battle because it is at the BC.
