Tina Berg is an editor at Beobachter and is known for her expertise in climate journalism. She has been with the brand since 2018 and covers a wide range of topics, including politics, climate, environment, law, economy, migration, and history.
Tina holds a master’s degree from the University of Zurich in economic history, political science, and film studies. She began her journalistic career in 2010 as a local journalist at the «Zürichsee-Zeitung» while studying. Later, she worked in both the private sector and NGOs before returning to journalism.
Notable achievements in her career include her articles on the «Tricks of the Chemical Lobby», the «Swiss Shadow Delegation», and the «Manipulated Elections of 1848». Tina is driven by a desire to expose injustices. Additionally, she is passionately interested in seemingly dry topics, such as tax policy, chemical law, or the history of hyperinflation. She is a member of the Climate Journalism Network Switzerland and places particular emphasis on research and reporting on climate policy.
