Alice Cooper - 1979-04-09 - San Diego, CA (KBFH *soundboard* REMASTERED)
Post #20 from me is a remastered version of the classic King Biscuit Alice Cooper FROM THE INSIDE show from San Diego 1979. Among my personal bootleg pet peeves are nasty/choppy edits at the beginning and end of discs and between songs, uneven channels (where one dwarfs the other), double disc sets where disc one is 75 mins.
Deep Purple: Jakarta On My Mind (1975)
This boot and article is from http://www.bigozine2.com Deep Purple Jakarta On My Mind [no label, 1CD] Live at the Senyan Sports Stadium, Jakarta, Indonesia, December 4, 1975. By the time Deep Purple released Burn and Stormbringer (both 1974), Ian Gillan and Roger Glover had already left the band but some fans still considered Burn to be a worthy successor to the earlier albums.
James Gang (Tommy Bolin) - Live at Schaeffer Music Festival Central Park NY 1974
I'll bet the sound man at that show was a bass player who thought guitar players are always too loud. Love it when the taper yells out "Can't even hear the f***ing guitar..TURN IT UP!" Fortunately the guitar solo and following jam are a better mix. I can't believe they never made pro live recordings of any of these T Bolin James Gang shows.
KISS - 1st Show of the Reunion Tour - Tiger Stadium, 6-28-96 (FULL SHOW)
KISS 1996 1st Show of the Reunion Tour Tiger Stadium in Detroit, MI Audio Quality: 8.5/10 File Type: MP3 Recording Type: Audience Gene Simmons - Paul Stanley - Ace Frehley - Peter Criss Been a while since my last post. Oh well. This one's worth the wait. I got this in a trade and kept it all to myself for a while cause it's just so awesome. The first KISS show with all the original members since 1979. And unlike the hacked-up KISSOLOGY version, this is the real deal. This is the full show.
Ace Frehley live in Brooklyn, NY 3/9/85 *vintage club show!*
Post #86 from me is a classic oldie from Ace Frehley -- one of his first solo shows after departing Kiss in 1982. This show is a great glimpse into where Ace was at at this point in his career, some 23 years ago. While more rockin' than the 1987 Frehley's Comet band, Ace went out as a 5 piece here and had friend Arthur Stead aboard on keys. The sound isn't the best, but I did what I could with my old cassette tape which I have had since maybe April of '85.
