The Interbrand Nintendo ranking has risen dramatically this year. Every year, Interbrand release a list of the top 100 most recognized brands on a global scale. For the first time since 2014, Nintendo is back in it. It is the Nintendo best global brand list placing in four years, largely thanks to the success of the Switch. Despite the success, however, Nintendo didn’t place highly on the list at all. Interbrand has ranked Nintendo as the 99th most recognized brand in the world.

Yesterday, it was confirmed by British television channel Dave, that Dara O Briain’s Go 8 Bit has been canceled after three series. The video game comedy panel show proved popular enough to generate a spin-off programme, Go 8 Bit DLC. Popularity dwindled, however, and Dave decided to can the series after only three years on the air. One of the show’s co-creators, however, only learned that Go 8 Bit was canceled via Twitter.

Square Enix announced today that is publishing a new Deck Nine game. Deck Nine Games is the developer behind the Life is Strange prequel, Life is Strange Before the Storm. TGS 2018: BlazBlue Central Fiction Special Edition for Switch Announced
At this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Arc System Works confirmed that it is bringing BlazBlue Central Fiction Special Edition to Nintendo Switch. Central Fiction originally released back in November 2016 in the West on PS3 and PS4. It was ported to PC, too, last April. Two years after its initial release, however, the fighting game is making its way onto Switch, as a Special Edition, no less. BlazBlue Central Fiction Special Edition was announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2018 earlier today.
Resonance of Fate PS4 and PC Rated In Germany
Game announcements can often be preceded by a rating. Oftentimes a rating can jump the gun on a reveal. It’s happened before, and it will happen again. This time, eagle-eyed internet trawlers have found that USK (German Classification Board) has given Resonance of Fate an age rating on both PS4 and PC. Both the PS4 and PC versions of Resonance of Fate have been awarded a USK 16 rating, with a survey date of August 31, 2018. This is in line with the original Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game.
Nintendo Switch Online Cloud Saves are Deleted When Your Subscription Expires

Despite being grounded in PC gaming folklore, the Sid Meier’s Civilization series has some history on Nintendo. Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution released July 8 2008 on the Nintendo DS, for example.
