Chancellor May responded to my earlier letter about the use of fruit and nut crops on almost 90 acres of Wolfskill Ranch. I do appreciate his thoughts but have more to add. Wolfskill does provide its products to the public, but not the food-needy public. For many years the facility has hosted events where long tables of figs, pomegranates, grapes, and persimmons are freely given to crowds of guests.
