Have you ever used a typewriter?
Never, although I feel like I'll pick one up when my mid life crisis truly takes hold.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Wordpress, google suite, word suite, social media.
Why did you become a journalist?
To share my love of art with the world, and to shine a lot on the incredible human stories behind the art we love.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My Last of Us cordyceps piece. Interviewing a parasite expert and learning about the terrifying reality of the cordyceps was fascinating!
What's your favorite drink?
Oat milk cappuccino or an IPA.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
At a gig, playing a game or out socialising with a cold pint in hand.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That games journalism is simply news - it's actually pop culture reporting. The stories of players & developers are as important as the games
