There was a recent 1hr parking standoff in LA between two cars fighting over the space. I appreciated the sheer willpower involved
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
A quick synopsis, with an understanding of how I might be able to visually tell the story
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Sony cameras - FS7s and A7Sii's. A Mavic drone, Zeiss lenses, Premiere and after effects. And usually a whole mess of GoPros.
What's your favorite social network?
Instagram - though I travel a lot my gram is mostly weird signs around Brooklyn

Nope
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm incredibly proud of Chasing the Northern Lights, a profile of the world's #1 aurora borealis tour, in Lapland, Sweden

Just after lunch

Sesame Street asked if I wanted to shoot a food tour with Cookie Monster! Career highlight, there
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
The history of Dead Horse Bay, the dirtiest beach in New York. I weirdly was into the story but it's not T+L's beat unfortunately

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That travel video is always luxurious! Some of my most challenging days have been in the world's most beautiful places.
