Nine ‘brain food’ tips for researchers
As nutrition researchers, we are often asked to advise colleagues as well as members of the public on diet and exercise to promote good health. But do we always practise what we preach? We both face challenges to eating healthily. Behavioral manipulation-key to the successful global spread of the new coronavirus SARS‐CoV‐2?
Abstract Human-severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) interaction can have an array of various outcomes—it could be mortal, morbid or merely carrying minor health consequences. The very rapid global spread has raised the issue whether there are further multi-dimensional consequences of SARS-CoV-2 infection on human behavior, the key of its transmission.
Proteomic Responses of Carotenoid and Retinol Administration to Mongolian Gerbils
Various health benefits of carotenoids have been described. However, while human observational studies generally suggest positive health effects, supplementation with relatively high doses of individual carotenoids (supplements) have partly produced adverse effects. In the present study, we investigated the effect of several carotenoids on the proteomic response of male Mongolian Gerbils (aged 6 weeks).
