National Highways ads Toyota electric vehicles to its fleet

Toyota’s first large-sized commercial van in Europe, the PROACE MAX, is now on sale in the UK with a choice of battery-electric (BEV) or diesel powertrains. The BEV system produces 200kW (268bhp/270 DIN hp) and 410Nm or torque and has an official (WLTP) standard driving range of up to 260 miles. This allows the vehicle to be used for urban daily delivery schedules potentially without the need for overnight changing.
