Apple Pie Cheesecake Bars
For Bake Someone's Day this week, I made some Apple Cheescake bars. The recipe was from one of those little cookbooks you find in line at the grocery store. It was called Fall Baking. In a large bowl, add the cookie mix and cut in the stick of butter using a pastry knife or two butter knives. Combine until the mixture is like coarse pebbles. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the mixture, and press the rest into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Then let cool for about 20 minutes.
Chili Beef Kebabs
This one is quick, easy and delicious! Rinse beef under cold water and pat dry. Cut beef into about 1" cubes. Also cut up any other ingredients into smaller size pieces that you plan to use. I used onions, peppers and potatoes. Mix rub ingredients together in a small bowl. Take cubed beef and add to a resealable bag. Add rub and mix well. Return to the refridgerator to marinate for at least an hour and up to overnight. When ready to prepare, preheat grill to high. Mix together basting sauce.
