A journalist is someone willing to share a perspective of the world as they see it.

Why did you become a journalist?
Communication avoids bloodshed.

Yes. I was Young Literary Critics Association (book club) reporter for the Digger News at Sugar-Salem High School.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
In addition to journalism, become expert at an additional discipline. (1) its potential alternative income, and (2) it deepens your writing.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Sunday afternoons.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
Native Americas have gotten a raw deal, and that fact has not changed in 120 years.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Legalized pot is a core Republican value.

Chocolate malt

Hiking the pine-covered hillsides of my corner of the Rocky Mountains.
