Social Media is rapidly decreasing the time it takes to break stories. It is also placing added value on in-depth reporting.

Giving the public the knowledge it needs to self-govern efficiently and effectively.

Why did you become a journalist?
While serving in the military I recognized the need for civilians to call attention to matters of public interest in the government.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I don't know that I could narrow it down to one, but I am most proud of the stories that have expounded on behind-the-scenes events openly.
