The crash happened at 4:06 p.m. at milepost 11.25 on I-94, according to Illinois State Police. Two vehicles were involved in the crash and some people were injured, but state police did not have further details. All four lanes were shut down on the northbound Tri-State near the scene for an investigation. The tollway was fully reopened by 8 p.m.

That crash took place very early Sunday morning. Just after midnight state police said a black Nissan Murano was traveling on I-294 when it was struck by another unknown vehicle. The crash caused the Nissan to strike a wall, the front end damage obvious as the car was towed away.
Man Struck, Killed By SUV After Falling Out Of Limo Bus On Tri-State
CHICAGO (CBS) — A 27-year-old man died early Saturday after falling out of a limo bus and being struck by an SUV on Interstate 294 near north suburban Deerfield. A 2012 Freightliner Truck Tractor limo bus was traveling south about 3:05 p.m. on I-294 at Lake Cook Road when James J. Larsen went to the front of the limo to turn up the radio volume, according to Illinois State Police.
