Question - Hoody 1 Fire Hood for Ceiling Speakers
#1 I bought two of these and need to install above my ceiling speakers but in the instructions, it says "Cable entry can be under the hood material or through the marked entry hole in the side of the hood." But I can't see anywhere on the hood that you could feed speaker cable through? Has anyone used the Hoody 1 and if so, can you point me in the right direction? Is the entry point hidden somewhere?

For Sale - LEGO Horizon Adventures
For sale LEGO Horizon Adventures £28. inc del Mint, like new - just completed. Fun single or co-op game for (big) kids. SOLD: Call of Duty Black Ops 6 £42 now £35 inc. del Used, mint condition could pass for new. Spider-Man 2 £32 now £28 inc. del Used, reasonably good condition. Worth noting there is some light marks on the disc as it was loose in the case when I initially got it. Most people wouldn’t notice but I am somewhat fussy so wanted to mention it.
Marantz SR7009 AV Receiver Review & Comments
#2 Will you be doing a shootout between this the X5200 and the Yamaha (A2040/A3040) models? I'd love to know what is the best all rounder in 1 nice article #3 Funny you should ask that but I am doing a shootout between the SR7009, Pioneer LX58 and Yamaha A2040; all of which are about the same price. #4 Great news but no Denon in the shootout... #5 Well the X5200 is £300 more so it isn't the same price range, plus we won't be getting a review sample from Denon for a while.

Watch your sub levels with Edge of Tomorrow BD!
Hi Just got home from work and had Edge of Tomorrow on BD arrive. Put it in the player and sat down. The low bass on the DTS HDMA track in the first 20/27 seconds of the movie is MASSIVE. So much so that in my 15 years of owning an M&K sub I have never seen the MK badge on the grill move so much. I had the movie on at -33 below reference (which is very low and god only knows what would have happened if I had it on at -5 which is what I normally have. So a word of warning peeps.

Attic Bat Cave - work in progress..........
AidenL Distinguished Member #1 But reading more and more, I guess a dedicated room is the ultimate for all of us on here - so I'm in the early stages of planning a dedicated room. I'm planning to knock out the wall between my Study and Bedroom 3. This will give a space 12ft wide and 22ft long in old money. I'm thinking a baffle wall at the end next to the main bathroom with a white AT screen and LRC behind.
The Peripheral (Amazon) Season 1 Premiere TV Show Review & Comments
#2 Great review Tom, very funny throughout but that opening paragraph really tickled me Too many others things to watch currently so will pass on this until the end of the series to see if it improves #3 I'll give it a go, hopefully Nolan/joy do direct some episdes and it improves. I do like william gibson stories and Nolan tv shows like Westworld & persons of interest. I see he is directing E1 of the new fallout TV series based on the games, hopefully that is good.

Question - Would you report a near miss?
#1 Hi chaps. So today I was out in the sticks flying my mavic, not particularly high as I was filming the dog by a stream. Gained some altitude when I could hear a distant a helicopter. I was in a bit of a dip so couldn't see what was approaching but after hearing the helicopter I quickly started to bring the drone down. I had just got below tree level when this police helicopter flew directly overhead. Must have been around 50m off the ground max literally skimed the tree tops.
Insurance on provisional licence?
#1 So looking at getting a car for our daughter to learn in and when looking at insurance she has an option to take a policy under a provisional licence in her name which is surprisingly cheap? Has anyone one done this? Did you build up any NCB? Obviously she wouldn't drive the car without supervision and would have to change the policy if/when she passes her test. Thanks.

Seattle Pier 66: Luggage storage on disembarkation for an 8:30pm flight
I have clients on the Bliss right now. They are flying out the day of disembarkation at 8:30pm on Southwest. They were planning on using Port Valet to transfer the luggage to the airport so they can sight-see for the day. The ship is now telling them that SW will not take luggage past a 4pm departure. This is all news to us. Any ideas of where else they can try to store their luggage? We were told they cannot store the luggage at Pier 66 because the port closes around 5pm or so.

Dunkirk Ultra HD Blu-ray Review & comments
#2 Thanks for the review Can you comment on the bit-rate of the audio? The 1080 bluray has a low 16 bit track, is the UHD version 24 bit and higher? Bluray DTS-HD Master Audio English 2411 kbps 5.1 / 48 kHz / 2411 kbps / 16-bit #3 Pretty spot on review. Despite me being one that expected a Atmos track the include 5.1 is top notch and works brilliantly up-mixed.
