I had a reaction, a side effect that I want to share. I woke up the next morning (Sunday) with both legs affected. They felt very stiff, very heavy. To walk, I had to use short steps with a fear of losing my balance. Bending was not an option. Stairs scared me. I felt like I had 20 pounds weights on each leg.
I think it was deliberate.

Advice requested re. garlic
I'm making pesto by hand. The garlic I want to use is the cache my SIL gave me. (Homegrown in her garden) The garlic is fragrant. But the cloves are uniformly but partially discolored. Ivory and cafe-au-lait. Should I throw them away and use other garlic that's entirely ivory? With ignorance, I'm considering that maybe the discolored part will be bitter and will ruin the pesto. Your thoughts please?

Its pretty simple. Start with fresh crab meat. Canned meat will do in a pinch but theres nothing like fresh seafood. When making the mixture, use one egg (for two cakes), and not to many bread crumbs. Keep it meaty. We add some minced onions and a shake or two of hot sauce. When frying the cakes, we use a cast iron skillet heated up then fry on a medium-low heat. Dont use too much oil! The cakes will cook more evenly and wont get greasy. Poaching the eggs can be tricky.
