Here's why college is worth the investment of time and money
Is it worth the investment? It’s the question parents, prospective students and even the community have been asking about college in recent years. There are tens of thousands of jobs unfilled in the Louisville area alone. Is college necessary? Our community is responding with a resounding, “Yes!” Jefferson Community and Technical College begins the fall 2018 semester with a significant increase in the number of first-time students. Together, those stories raise two big questions: Can I afford the cost of a college education?
