What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and when in dire situations or traveling, Google Docs

I was a staff writer, feature section editor, and eventually, editor-in-chief

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

I don't think an aspiring journalist exists. There's a very low entry bar
