Mostly Birds (and a Few Humans)
Eve Wood‘s first solo museum exhibition, Mostly Birds (and a Few Humans), at the Riverside Art Museum, demonstrates the quiet power inherent in art that speaks softly yet carries an enduring resonance, with the show having 30 works on paper. Wood’s use of gouache and graphite feels like a deliberate embrace of mediums often overshadowed by the larger-than-life, mixed-media installations dominating today’s art world.

Tyler Stallings, 12, The Baltimore Times’ Junior Reporter, interviewed Caden Harris about entrepreneurship. Summer break isn’t just rest and fun activities. Students must remain aware of the “Summer Slide.” “Summer Slide” is a term for the amount of time in the summer that young students don’t study, which causes them to forget material and all of the things they studied during the academic years. Students have more time in the summer to work on personal goals.

I mean, in my mind he didn’t have a care in the world when it came to this organization, and it seemed like he was perfectly content with wasting Crosby and Malkin’s last few years in the league. But let’s take a deeper look. Was Hextall really as bad as he seemed? Was this the right move for the pens?

The Skate Park as a Vessel to Contain Emptiness and the Imagination
Title Learn more about women in the skateboarding industry in "Underexposed." Watch now. “Empty Vessel” presents two new bodies of photographs by Amir Zaki featuring either vacant landscapes of skate parks or still-lives of shards from broken, ceramic containers.
