Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. It was sometime in elementary school. We used it in Library class when we were learning about the history of book writing.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Peter Parker. He's more of a photojournalist, but Peter works hard and he's also SpiderMan, my favorite super hero.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To inform the public, and to be the watchdogs of the government. In my industry, it can also be to give opinions through reviews and previews
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I like to know the "why?" Why do they want to write this story? It makes sure the story has a purpose.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I never did. I was a music person all through high school, and into college. I changed my major when I realized I wanted to do this instead.
What's your favorite drink?
I liked it before it was part of the video gamer stereotype, but I love Mountain Dew. It has the best taste of any other pop, in my opinion.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
At the TV, playing video games. These electronics pretty much consume my life, although I do love the outdoors.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
IGN.com. The people there have been my inspiration and my motivation. They do good work there.
