What was your first job as a journalist?
My first real job as a journalist was as a student reporter and designer for the Chicago Tribune's The Mash.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
I actually bought one at Good Will. Yes.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
My recorder and my notebook, plus Adobe Audition, InDesign, Illustrator, web management software (Blox)... the list goes on.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes, I was a staff writer my sophomore year, the managing editor the next year, and the editor-in-chief during my senior year.
