A gentleman Officer and noiseless achiever General Christopher Oluwole Rotimi made remarkable achievements while he was at the helm of affairs in the Western State. The New Inflation Numbers Just Published By The NBS Will Shock You. Nothing Is Adding Up ...Forwarded
The new inflation numbers just published by the NBS will shock you. Nothing is adding up. When you read the funny numbers, you will quickly realize why he said “he think say na statistics we go chop?” Nigerians are sleeping while Bola Tinubu is dressing up the numbers. Since he cannot tackle inflation, unemployment & grow your GDP, he will dress them up. I miss Yemi Kale as the Statistician General of Nigeria. For 10 solid years, the professional refused to bow to pressure from Aso Rock.

The Empire Self-Destructs By Chris Hedges
The billionaires, Christian fascists, grifters, psychopaths, imbeciles, narcissists and deviants who have seized control of Congress, the White House and the courts, are cannibalizing the machinery of state. These self-inflicted wounds, characteristic of all late empires, will cripple and destroy the tentacles of power. And then, like a house of cards, the empire will collapse.
As You Lay Your Bed…, By Muyiwa Adetiba
I have been getting frantic calls and text messages from a sister of a close friend who claims, as usual, that she is short of money for her drugs. My friend had in the past, asked me to ignore the messages and even threatened that ‘pandering’ – my friend’s choice word for the situation – to the distress calls could affect our relationship.
Tinubu's Self Immortalisation By Dr. Ugo Egbujo
A leader with an eye on posterity won’t have the appetite for the vanity of naming projects after himself. Because true immortality will be bestowed by history, not monuments that can be renamed. Tinubu needs to submit himself to some clear-eyed, sober reflection. This preoccupation with self-glorification and immortalisation is a telltale sign. There is now a Tinubu Barracks in Abuja. It’s a frenzy of self-immortalization. There is a Tinubu Airport in Minna. There is a Tinubu Polytechnic in Abuja.
Tinubu Must Disown Obasa NOW...(Forwarded)
I have just read what I want to call the GRA declaration by former Speaker Mubasiru Obasa. In the declaration, he made bold to say that he would remain the Speaker until the right thing was done. A removal that was overwhelming in support by a majority of the members, coupled with staggering allegations that we have heard, should not elicit such a braggadocious performance as the one we have just witnessed in Ikeja.
The Clear Message From President Trump...(Forwarded)
God has blessed your country. Go back and hold your corrupt leaders accountable. Stop loitering the streets of America. If Americans were docile and refused to initiate Revolution, then you would never see such an amazing nation like USA. If France kept mum in 1775, you wouldn’t see a developed nation like France. If you like, keep playing tribal and religious politics in suffering while your ruling class loot with reckless abandon. Stop depending on WHO for subsidized drugs.

Nigeria Medical Consultants Suspend Strike, To Review Progress In December
The Medical and Dental Consultants’ Association of Nigeria (MDCAN) has suspended its seven-day old warning strike. The National President of MDCAN, Mohammad Mohammad, who spoke with PREMIUM TIMES on Sunday evening, said the strike was suspended following the federal government agreeing to address its demands. Mr Mohammad noted that MDCAN’s National Executive Council (NEC) would meet in mid-December to assess the progress made on the association’s outstanding demands.
2027: Seyi Tinubu’s Endorsements, Obasa’s Outburst Set Tone For Lagos Gov’ship
The endorsements of President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, ahead of the 2027 Lagos governorship election have sparked widespread debate, with significant political players weighing in, Daily Trust reports. On Tuesday, the Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders (CONYL), a body comprising youth groups from across the six geopolitical zones, endorsed Seyi Tinubu for Lagos governor. The endorsement was announced after an extensive meeting in Owerri.
The Metamorphosis of Mallam Ribadu By Ugo Egbujo
Born in 1960, Nuhu Ribadu, perhaps, had independence in his genes. Son of a first republic parliamentarian from Yola, Nuhu came with a good spoon in his mouth. After he studied law, he joined the police, climbing the career ladder of a corrupt and disoriented institution. Young Ribadu, it appeared, resisted the mind bending culture and stored a grudge for filth. But cynics saw a temperamental, conceited, attention-seeking, power-hungry, and callow fellow.
The Metamorphosis of Nyesom Wike: From Political Monolith to Treacherous Liability By Rita Umeh
Nyesom Wike, the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and immediate past Governor of Rivers State, once commanded significant respect as a formidable figure in Nigerian politics. From his days as a Minister of State for Education under President Goodluck Jonathan, Wike’s rise to prominence was meteoric, marked by his spirited defiance of political intimidation and a reputation as a champion of the people.
Tinubu’s primitive tribalism, is he settling scores?
Tinubu has become an unabashed chauvinist. It’s a hard watch. It doesn’t bode well for national unity. Tinubu’s critical appointments have become the most lopsided in the history of this country. A Yoruba is the police Inspector General. A Yoruba is the EFCC Chairman. A Yoruba is the Head of the DSS. A Yoruba is the Attorney General. A Yoruba is the Chief Justice of the Federation. And Tinubu, a Yoruba, is the President and overseer of all instruments of coercion.
Nigerian airport toilets and the ease of doing business
man in a colourful suit arrives at the airport for an early flight. Because he left home early, he couldn’t observe his morning rituals. Then the flight scheduled for 6.30 am is delayed for aviation fuel reasons, and his bowels notify him that the time has come. He picks up his bag and looks for the signs, hoping to find relief in peace. The bathrooms are washed but wet. His skin itches. He chooses the furthermost in a row of four cubicles and shuts the door briskly. He feels lucky. Nobody noticed him.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 d𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 s𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 o𝐟 t𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐠𝐛𝐨 e𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞, By Ugo Egbujo
A child who leaves skelewu to dance surugede must be reminded; surugede is a dance of the spirits. Those whom the gods want to kill they first make mad. Yemi Osinbajo fears civil war. War is hell, but we could be in for worse. The rampant slaughter of police and military personnel on the streets is the devil at full throttle. Our governments have only a little time to spare us a slow descent into Armageddon. No one will enjoy a Sergeant before the cascade into a Liberia.
In Bayelsa the gang up was gangster!
In Bayelsa the gang up was gangster. The eagles gathered with the vultures in Nembe. Sharks joined crocodiles in the swamps and creeks of Southern Ijaw The Lyons roamed in solidarity with jackals and hyenas in Ogbia The process may not be holy. But the outcome was ordained by the moons and the stars , the principalities and the powers, the grass and the ground. Wild beasts teamed up with house pets. No stone was left unturned Thunder and lightning lent themselves.
