Unal Patel’s Biography
Prior to joining Cisco, Unal Patel co-founded, grew, and sold a small startup focused on developing apps for nonprofit organizations. NextApp Nonpro created software to help nonprofit organizations collect feedback and donations from subscribers.
He worked as an intern for a digital marketing firm before founding NextApp Nonpro. He was chosen from more than 100 applicants to handle website programming tasks that required Java, C++, C, Sharepoint, and HTML. In this paid position, I worked 20 to 25 hours per week and maintained a GPA of 3.7.
He is pleased with his work redesigning the company's internet and intranet pages. He discovered the significance of SEO when optimizing web designs to rank high on SERPs.
