I started as an Associate Producer at a news channel.

Social media is a double-edged sword. At times it's very heplful, but some other times it's the exact opposite.

Jeff Daniels as Will McAvoy.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To struggle for the truth and doing your absolute best to get there.

Through email or social media.

Social media, Google, and the good ole' phone.

Why did you become a journalist?
To rebel against myself and what was originally ordained for me.

Nope, I wanted to, and came very close to applying.

I'm still in search of that story.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Don't ever underestimate yourself. If you really put your heart and soul into it, you can get there.

I just forget about bad ones.

Mocha.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Reading an op-ed of some newspaper.

I enjoy reading The New York Times and Dawn.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
I don't have a 'beat'. I never let myself get pigeonholed to one role.
