What was your first job as a journalist?
I got selected as a 'coordinator' out of school for The Statesman, the oldest running newspaper in India. In the Kolkata division, I contributed to the Thursday weekly feature 'Voices'. There, I covered local events, and created engaging content targeted to youth.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes I learnt to type on a typewriter before we had a computer.

Wordpress, Google Docs, TurboScribe

Who do you wish followed you?
The NFL stars I cover, and some of my favorite authors like Neil Gaiman or Rick Riordan
Why did you become a journalist?
Because I have loved writing since I was 14 years old, and it was always a dream of mine to become one.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
It's a bit offbeat, but I'm really proud of the fantasy novel I'm currently working on.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Never stop writing.
What's your favorite drink?
In summers, it's Mountain Dew, in the winters it's homemade hot chocolate.
