Experimental–AI approach (hybrid) for evaluating the strength characteristics of eco-efficient concrete incorporating coal bottom ash
Abstract Thermal power stations generate large amount of coal bottom ash (CBA), which is mostly disposed of in landfills, creating environmental hazards. At the same time, the continual use of natural aggregate in concrete is depleting resources. Present study aims to address both these issues by utilizing coal bottom ash as partial substitute to river sand and quarry sand at values between 0% and 100%. Experimental results indicate that workability decreases with increasing CBA contain.
Universal properties of single-particle excitations across the many-body localization transition
Understanding the nature of the transition from the delocalized to the many-body localized (MBL) phase is an important unresolved issue. To probe the nature of the MBL transition, we investigate the universal properties of single-particle excitations produced in highly excited many-body eigenstates of a disordered interacting quantum many-body system.
Abstract No. 6 “UnpleASAnt” outcomes: can the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status Classification predict post-interventional radiology procedure complication severity? - Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology
The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status Classification is a widely adopted system used to assess a patient’s pre-anesthesia medical comorbidities. Surgical literature has demonstrated ASA classification to be an important predictor of peri-procedural morbidity and mortality. However, formal education on ASA classification among interventional radiology (IR) trainees is not common.
Abstract No. 530 Is there a difference in bleeding risk for small-bore versus large-bore mechanical thrombectomy? A systematic review of major complications
There are numerous devices that may be used for mechanical thrombectomy. The purpose of this study was to conduct a systematic review of complications with mechanical thrombectomy for pulmonary embolism (PE).
Abstract No. 583 Initial evaluation of patient exposure from fluoroscopic equipment platforms that dynamically adjust multiple imaging parameters
The purpose of this work was to evaluate the effect of new fluoroscopic imaging hardware and software on patient skin entrance exposure during common IR procedures. Abstract No. 464 The integrated interventional radiology match: a bibliometric analysis of matched first-year residents
To view the full text, please login as a subscribed user or purchase a subscription. Click here to view the full text on ScienceDirect. The integrated interventional radiology (IR) residency has only been established relatively recently as compared to other specialties. Although some preliminary information is available based on survey data, no comprehensive bibliometric analysis documenting the importance of research in applying to an integrated-IR program currently exists.

To evaluate the efficacy of Angioplasty and Stent Placement for the treatment of Portal Vein Stenosis in Liver Transplant Recipients by performing a Systematic Review.
Abstract No. 573 Radial versus femoral access: is there a preference among nursing care providers?
To view the full text, please login as a subscribed user or purchase a subscription. Click here to view the full text on ScienceDirect. To examine preference for radial or femoral access for visceral arterial interventions among nursing staff responsible for post procedural care.
Abstract No. 578 Validating fluoroscopic time and dose as individual physician quality metrics for dose-intensive procedures
To view the full text, please login as a subscribed user or purchase a subscription. Click here to view the full text on ScienceDirect. Existing IR quality improvement metrics can be limited by subjectivity and inconsistent peer-review processes; they focus on procedural complications which may fail to identify physician outliers. This study evaluated and stratified fluoroscopy time and dose as objective quality metrics for provider-assessment.
